The self assessment tax return, be it for an individual, partnership or limited company, is the cornerstone of the tax system.

Changes to the system have meant:

• Tax returns are far more complex to complete.
• The scheme of penalties make it far more costly to make mistakes.
• The differing rates of tax make it difficult to calculate your own tax liability.
• Different payment dates have made it difficult to pay tax at the right time.

The self assessment tax system is far from being the ‘DIY’ system it was advertised as being at the outset.

We, at The Gretton Partnership, will remove the uncertainty and provide you with
a clear statement of what to pay and when to pay it. 

We will deal with H.M. Revenue and Customs on your behalf with the routine questions and inconsistencies relevant to your tax affairs. Should the HMRC raise an enquiry into your tax affairs we will be there to take you through it, communicate with the HMRC and negotiate with the HMRC on your behalf.
